I am a Post-doctoral Researcher in the Department of Economics and Management at the University of Luxembourg. I am also an Affiliate Member at the UCL Centre for Comparative Studies of Emerging EconomiesSchool of Slavonic and East European Studies, University College London (UK).

My research interests are political economy, comparative and institutional economics, and growth and development. I also have an interest in the economics of post-socialist transition. Recurrent topics include the causes and consequences of corruption, institutional quality, cultural norms. Geographically, a lot of my research focuses specifically on emerging economies.

My work is multidisciplinary, combining insights and methods from both economics and political science.

I have done extensive fieldwork research in Kosovo and Albania and I have provided policy advice to USAID, Kosovo's Ministry of Trade and Industry, and the U4 Anti-Corruption Resource Centre in Bergen, Norway.
